1. Coffee plantations

  • Coorg is renowned for its vast coffee plantations that produce some of India's finest coffee.

  • Waterfalls: Coorg is home to several majestic waterfalls, including Abbey Falls and Iruppu Falls, offering stunning views amidst coffee and spice plantations.
  • Hills and Valleys: The region boasts rolling hills, misty valleys, and the Brahmagiri Mountain Range, providing picturesque views and opportunities for trekking.
  • Wildlife Sanctuaries: Coorg is home to Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, a sanctuary spanning 102 square kilometers, known for its diverse flora and fauna, and rich birdlife. It is particularly famous for its sustainable approach to endangered bird species. Nagarhole National Park, sharing territory with the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, is also a significant wildlife haven in the area.

  • Kodava People: The native Kodava people of Coorg are known for their distinct culture, hospitality, martial traditions, and unique cuisine.
  • Madikeri Fort: This historic fort, located in the heart of Madikeri town, offers insights into Coorg's past rulers and provides panoramic views of the surroundings.
  • Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery): This Tibetan Buddhist monastery is a prominent cultural attraction, featuring stunning Tibetan architecture, golden statues, and vibrant murals.

  • Trekking: Coorg offers a variety of trekking trails, from easy walks through coffee plantations to challenging hikes up peaks like Tadiandamol and Brahmagiri.
  • River Rafting: The Barapole River provides an exhilarating white-water rafting experience amidst scenic landscapes.
  • Elephant Interaction: The Dubare Elephant Camp allows visitors to get up close with elephants, learn about their behavior, and even participate in activities like bathing and feeding.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1: Bangalore / Coorg - Madikeri

Meet on arrival at Bangalore Airport / Railway station and drive to Coorg - Madikeri. Later proceed to visit Abbey Falls - Tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Abbey Falls offers a splendid backdrop for picnics. Madikeri Fort - The 19th century Madikeri fort with its stone ramparts now houses the prison, a temple, a chapel, a small museum, and assorted government offices, Omkareshwar Temple - Just a stone's throw away from the Madikeri Fort is the Omakareshwara Temple, built in 1820 and featuring a blend of red-tile roofed Kerala architecture and Islamic-style domes. Visit Glass Bridge. Evening visit Raja Seat - is an enchanting picnic spot with a swathing in the nature's lap. A visitor to this spot is sure to enjoy the marvellous sight of Sun set and gorgeous valley and mountain ranges. Musical fountain has been attracting a large number of visitors to the garden. Return to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

 Day 2: Coorg - Madikeri

Early breakfast proceeds to Dubare elephant camp (to reach the place before 09.00Hrs) offer the 3-hour experience with Elephants consisting of elephant Grooming, feeding, elephant Ride & Coracle Ride, later visit Cauvery Nisargadhama - is an island formed by river Cauvery and is used as a picnic spot island, with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves, sandalwood and teak trees and surrounded by the Cauvery River. The island is accessible through a hanging rope bridge. Later visit Bylakuppe - largest Tibetan settlement in South India. A beautiful Monastery with three large and imposing Golden Buddha statues and in a serene setting beckons you. The temple has 62 feet Buddha statues covered with gold plates is a wonderful sight anytime. Back to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

 Day 3: Coorg - Madikeri - Departure

Morning breakfast, checkout from the hotel. proceed to visit Bhagamandala - situated at the confluence of two rivers, the Cauvery and the Kanika. A third river, the Sujyothi is said to join from underground. It is considered sacred as a river confluence, visit Talacauvery - known as Dakshin Kashi is the birthplace of river Cauvery at the foot of the breathtaking Brahmagiri Hills in Coorg. The river flows down inconspicuously as 'Guptagamini' from here before re-emerging a small distance downwards at Nagateerta. Cauvery's soulful journey starts unchecked from there where she would join the Kannike and Sujyoti rivers at the Triveni Sangama in Bhagamandala to flow further. Visit Golden Temple. Later proceed to Bangalore. Our vehicle will drop you off at Bangalore Airport or Railway station for your return journey. Tour ends with sweet memories to cherish forever with Miles2Fly.

Mandalapatti Jeep Safari [optional] – Our taxi will drive you to the trekking starting site; if necessary, you will then need to rent a jeep and begin trekking.

    60% in advance to process the booking and balance 40% to be paid 20 days prior to the trip.

    Hotel standard Check-In - 14:00 hrs - 15:00 hrs and Check-out time - 11:00 hrs. respectively.

    Prices are dynamic and subject to change unless the booking is confirmed or vouchered. Rates include only those items specified in your itinerary.

    Refund strictly as per the cancellation policy given.

    Package rates are valid for the selected travel dates only and for the room category and other services, specified.

    Any changes requested after the booking is vouchered, will be done manually. The cancellation fee and the price difference (if any) will be charged, accordingly

    The guests are requested to follow the rules and regulations of the resort / hotel where they are accommodated

    Sometimes due to unforeseen situations, A need may arise for us to make slight changes to our itinerary; guests are requested to cooperate with us.

    In the unlikely event of reserved accommodation not available upon arrival at the destination, we would immediately arrange for an alternate accommodation of the same standards.

    Request guests to be punctual for all tours and transfers. Maximum waiting time shall be 05 minutes for SIC and 10 minutes for Private

    Interconnecting rooms/Adjacent rooms/Rooms on same floor /rooms near to each other, Smoking /Non-smoking rooms / are strictly subject to availability

    For any amendment requests while on tour, please request guests to contact our emergency numbers and the request shall be subject to availability, with/without any supplement charge.

    Shorter-stays than the booked stay and early check-out will be regarded as cancellation and hence no refund will be provided.

    No amendment (name changes, date changes, hotel change etc) will be done once the booking is guaranteed or confirmed

    We do not hold any responsibility for additional cost or adjustment which may arise as a result of events beyond our control, such as technical problems with means of transportation, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline/train, political disturbances, natural disasters, bad weather or terrorist activity etc. Also, any subsequent increase in the cost, which may arise from the increase of fuel price, govt taxes or accommodation charges shall have to be charged additionally

    We shall have no legal liability for any loss, damage, personal injury arising directly or indirectly from any aspect of your Holiday.

    Journey undertaken by air, land or sea is governed by the terms and conditions of the service provider.

    The guest booking our services is expected to provide a valid identity authenticating the person and you shall not make a reservation in a fictitious name.

    Showing around all the places mentioned in our packages depend upon the availability of time and climatic conditions

    It is the responsibility of the guest to carry all necessary travel documents such as accommodation voucher / confirmation, passport, other valid identity proof, flight/air tickets etc.

    In the unfortunate event of vehicle breakdown, we will provide you with an alternate vehicle. However, the time loss due to the event will not be compensated.

    At Religious place like Mosque please wear decent clothing covering all your body & At the time of visiting any Theme park please wear comfortable clothing etc

    Please note that Departure picks up from the hotel to airport will be done exactly 3 hours before flights scheduled time, make yourself available in the lobby and wait for your pick up.

    If the transfer needs to be arranged for a flight between 11:30 pm to 06:00 pm then 50 % surcharge of the total transfer cost will be applicable

    Important: please be available in the lobby for a pickup of the tour at least before 10 minutes. Also please inform the reception that you are waiting for tour or transfer pick up

    Please note that pick-up for all transfers and tours will be done as per the details in the Tour Briefing Sheet. This document is shared closer to the date of travel and all guests must carry the Tour Briefing Sheet during their travel.

    Insurance is not covered in the package so please cover yourself with an insurance at your own cost before traveling on a package tour.

  • +Cancellations

    (a) 25% of the total amount will be deducted if booking is cancelled 20 days in advance from check-in date.
    (b) 75% of the total amount will be deducted if booking is cancelled 15 days in advance from check-in date.
    (c) 100% of the total amount will be deducted if booking is cancelled 10 days in advance from check-in date.
