By Air
- Nearest Airport: The nearest major airport is the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, Assam, which is about 120 kilometers away from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. This airport is well-connected with major cities in India like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore.
- Shillong Airport (Umroi Airport): Shillong has a small domestic airport located in Umroi, about 30 kilometers from the city center. However, flights to Umroi are limited and might only be available from Kolkata.
By Rail
